Production Technician II

In this role as a Production Technician II for our Bio-Rad Portland, Maine, you will:

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Perform protein purification, chromatography, cell culture and making of buffers and media.
• Assist chemists with daily tasks.
• Set up Pellicon, wash labware, and support 5S activities in the lab.

 How You'll Make An Impact:

• Handle a variety of assignments and projects while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Receive training on manufacturing process procedures.

What You Bring:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Work Experience: Any relevant experience in shipping and receiving or lab settings.

Location: This position must be based in Portland, Maine and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Compensation: The estimated hourly rate for this position is $18.56 to $ 25.58 per hour, at the time of posting.  Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of the offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon the achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
