Production Training Coordinator

UPM Adhesive Materials is looking for a Production Training Coordinator in Mills River, North Carolina who will coordinate the training of employees and help support employee experience.

“Hello, the UPM Adhesive Materials Mills River facility is searching for a Trainer (Finishing and Coating). This role requires an energetic, congenial, systematic problem-solver and enthusiastic advisor. In this role, you will be providing continuous improvement & process training to the employees in your respective department. You will be required to energize and develop everyone with whom you are in contact, be a team player, and have the ability to unite teams towards a common objective. What you will do: 

• Promote, act, and support behaviors consistent with our safety principles  

• Aid in the development of training plans, stations, and TWI documentation  
  Support training and development of existing employees and new hires  

• Mentor and lead developing employees  

• Be responsible for continuous improvement of training programs  

• Actively participate & development in the departmental tiered meetings  

• Lead and ensure projects are run with a systematic approach  

• Advocate & support the Continuously improvement culture including Situational Leadership, Leadership Walks, Human Factors, and problem solving  

• Perform all duties consistent with the Roles and Responsibilities defined in the company’s  standards and guidelines  

• Invest in own development 

Who you are: 

• You are a self-motivated leader who enjoys developing others  

• You have strong manufacturing/process knowledge and an aptitude for teaching and coaching  

• You are organized, collaborative, and able to systematically solve problems  

• You communicate well and can engage employees at all levels  

• 3 years of relevant manufacturing, training, or leadership experience preferred; no education requirement
