Production Utility Operator

Job Description - Production Utility Operator

The Production Utility position supports fabrication and production operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. This entry-level role supports the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment while following standardized work procedures and supporting production goals related to safety, quality, and productivity.


Responsibilities



  • Support and operate assigned production equipment in accordance with established work instructions and safety procedures.

  • Support fabrication processes including West Heim, East Heim, 808 Barb #1 and #2, Manual Heim, Old Tile Press, and Azimuth Press operations.

  • Load and unload raw materials and finished goods to maintain continuous production flow.

  • Perform visual inspections to verify product quality and compliance with specifications.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.

  • Comply with all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and safety guidelines.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to support production goals.

  • Support cross-training opportunities and operational flexibility within the department.


 


Minimum Qualifications



  • Ability to perform work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

  • Demonstrated reliability, strong attendance, and teamwork orientation.

  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shift operations.


Equipment Utilized



  • Production equipment including West Heim, East Heim, 808 Barb #1 and #2, Manual Heim, Old Tile Press, and Azimuth Press.

  • Hand tools, carts, measuring devices, and required PPE equipment.


Physical Requirements



  • Continuous standing

  • Frequent walking, bending, twisting, and reaching

  • Frequent repetitive motion

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds

  • Occasional team-assisted lifting exceeding 50 pounds as required


Second Shift Hours are 4:00 pm to 2:30 am Monday through Friday
