Production Worker

Job Title: Production Team Member 

Reports to: Production Manager 

Location: 4470 Bordentown Ave, Sayreville, NJ 08872 

Shift: Monday – Friday (6:00am – 3:00pm) 

Position Summary 

The Production Worker's responsibilities include keeping the production area clean, preparing machinery and equipment for use, working the production line as instructed, and strictly following health and safety guidelines. 
To be successful as a production worker you should be able to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy. An outstanding production worker should be able to maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality. The hours for this position are Mon- Fri 6am-3:00pm.  
 
Responsibilities 

• Adhering to health and safety standards. 

• Loading materials and products into package-processing equipment. Finalizing and packaging products for shipment. 

• Moving or lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds.  

• Loading, unloading, or stacking products or materials. 

• Handling raw materials required for production. 

• Packaging and getting finished products ready for shipment. 

• Follow training procedures for HACCP, SSOP’S, and GMP processes.  

• Checking inventory on a regular basis and reporting any discrepancies 

Required skills and Qualifications: 

• Able to work in 40° F refrigerated facility.   

• Previous experience working in a factory is beneficial. 

• Experience operating manufacturing machinery. 

• Able to work as part of a team. 

• Attention to detail.
