Production Worker

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Production Operator I will be responsible for driving and executing the day-to-day work of the production line while ensuring that quality and safety standards are met. Production Operator I continuously monitor the performance and efficiency of production equipment and communicate with the Line Leader about any line issues. 12 hour shifts 4-3 / 3-4

On 4 Sunday - Wednesday, off 3 Thursday -Saturday

On 3 Sunday - Tuesday, off 4 Wednesday - Saturday

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Communicate production information to the Line Leader and fellow Operators

· Performs all duties in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner as instructed by the Line Leader

· Verifies that the correct material is being consumed at the production line according to the Build of Materials

· Identify and record acceptable and defective products

· Assembles, inspects, and cleans solar modules per work instructions

· Operate and conduct continuous monitoring of automated machinery

· Perform continuity testing using a meter

· Connect cables and wires to complete assemblies and installations

· Perform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions to ensure product quality

· Clean machines, tools, and equipment

· Other duties or tasks as assigned by leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· Ability to read and understand technical documents, manuals, and instructions

· Ability to work in a high-volume environment to meet production targets and deadlines

· Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

· This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment, which may involve exposure to various manufacturing conditions.

· Ability to work occasional extended hours or weekends as needed.

OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

● Been able to lift up to 25 pounds.

● Been able to communicate verbally efficiently.

● Sedentary work. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

● The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive readinNG.
