Production Worker - BPM

General Description of Duties:

• Provides support to assigned work area through contract production assistance. 


• Operates production machinery as assigned; learns procedures/methods for assigned contracts being performed; sets up each contract in assigned area to expedite work in most efficient and effective working manner.


• Ensure that production work is processed in accordance with quality control standards and rate of production.


• Keeps equipment and work area clean and safe; may pick up, deliver, load and unload materials; aids in the control of inventory of all contracts supplies; ensures proper use of all supplies, equipment and facilities used by all workers and staff in designated areas.


• May perform facility maintenance duties (i.e., vacuuming, trash removal, sweeping/mopping floors, dusting, restroom cleaning, window cleaning, etc.)  


• May be assigned to different work areas depending upon contact and production requirements as needed. Assists with training other personnel as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Training:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.


• One year work experience highly preferred.


• Must have the ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with internal and external customers of Adelante, and have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures.


• Ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, supervisors and co-workers.

Other Requirements: Must pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening.  Must have reliable transportation.   Must have effective verbal communication and writing skills.  Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs., push, pull, bend, and stoop frequently.  Adelante is a drug free workplace.  Adelante is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.

Job Type: Full Time|Tuesday thru Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm some OT required, based on production needs.

Pay: From $16.64 per hour.
