As a Professional Engineer with Byrne and Jones, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, designing, and executing civil engineering projects related to sports and recreation. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing comprehensive site plans for athletic facilities, parks, and infrastructure. You will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of each project, from conceptual design to final construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and preparation of detailed civil engineering site plans for athletic facilities, parks, and other civil projects.


• Provide technical expertise and ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards.


• Oversee permitting and regulatory approval processes for each project.


• Develop stormwater management plans, grading designs, and layouts for athletic fields and recreational areas.


• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.


• Act as a liaison with clients and staff, ensuring clear communication and understanding throughout the project lifecycle.


• Contribute to the continued success of Byrne & Jones through excellent service, quality design, and leadership.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited engineering program


• 5 years' experience in progressive civil engineering design


• Hold an active PE license


• Competent in working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and 3-D modeling


• Familiar with storm sewer, grading, and pavement design
