Professional Engineer (0-3 Years of Licensure) – Transportation Services Group

Location: Kennewick, WA

Position Overview:

The purpose of J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. J-U-B’s transportation practice provides a variety of clients with transportation planning and engineering services. We are seeking an early career PE (1-3 years of licensure). This position will work closely with experienced Engineers and Project Managers to develop and deliver a variety of surface transportation projects for our local, state, and federal clients.   

This position will include:

• Develop the plans and specifications for primarily transportation projects for local agencies and State DOT’s, including projects with both local and federal aid funds.
• Collaborate with traffic engineers, structural engineers, and other specialty disciplines to deliver a comprehensive package of reports, studies, and drawings to our clients. 
• Operate the CAD (Microstation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D) to effectively produce layouts and models of transportation projects using current standards.
• Draft/write technical reports and studies including but not limited to design criteria, drainage, geometry, etc.
• Work in a team setting, reporting to and taking direction from a Senior Project Engineer.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (PE) License required. Licensed in Washington state, or ability to obtain WA licensure within 90 days of hire 
• 1-3 years of experience with licensure 
• Bentley and AutoCAD software experience, preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with a variety of co-workers and teams.

Compensation: $90,000 – $112,000 annually, determined by experience.
