Pay: $30-$40 per hour depending on experience and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage team of housecleaners and assist in performing daily cleaning and upkeep of a fine home and guest house
• Laundry and garment care (ironing, steaming, organizing closets)
• Care for fine materials: antiques, crystal, silver, linens, and specialty surfaces
• Coordinate with team members and report to the Estate Manager
• Prepare simple breakfasts and lunches with high quality locally sourced organic ingredients, prioritizing environmentally conscience practices
• Occasional errand-running, guest service, and assistance during events
• Companion to an 86 year old very active client with early stage dementia. You will walk the grounds with her, evaluating gardening needs. You will engage her in conversation. You may eventually need to remind her to take her medications.

Requirements / Preferences

• Upbeat, optimistic, compassionate, positive attitude and energetic
• Valid driver's license, ability to drive and means of transportation
• Willingness to commute to Katonah, NY
• Legally authorized to work within the United States
• Bank account with direct deposit capabilities
• No serious criminal offenses as confirmed by background check
• If you play tennis or play bridge, that is a big plus!
