Job Summary
Fortem Technologies is seeking a strong addition to our professional services team. These job roles include supporting various customer-facing activities including support of DoD contracts, product installation, customer training, and product demonstrations. Due to the highly technical, customer facing, and hands-on nature of this role, travel is required, both domestic and international.  A successful Professional Services Engineer will become one of the world's leading experts on TrueView radars, the SkyDome Command and Control system, and DroneHunter interceptor features, operation, maintenance, installation, and support.

Primary Responsibilities

• Travel internationally and domestically for system demonstrations, events, training, customer support, site surveys, product installations, and service deployments.
• Facilitate demonstrations and other job functions in a professional manner under high pressure situations.
• Demonstrate Fortem products to potential customers globally.
• Train internal and external customers on Fortem products and services.
• Facilitate events to meet customer requirements that may also include partner hardware or system integrations.
• Perform required maintenance activities on internal and contract supported equipment both CONUS and OCONUS.
• Write detailed After-Action Reports (AAR) & daily deployment updates where required.
• Collaborate interdepartmentally as needed on events, development, site installation      maintenance, and testing.
• Assist with customer installations, document requirements, and fine tune as needed for specific use cases. 
• Regularly perform equipment operation, testing, troubleshooting, etc.
• Report issues, bugs, product feedback, ideas, and customer requests following the correct processes and procedures.

Requirements

Educational or Experience Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen
• BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
• 3-5+ years' work experience in a technical role
• Project Management experience is a plus
• FAA part 107a certification is a plus
• CompTIA Network+ certification is a plus
• Linux+ certification is a plus

Other Requirements

• Ability to possess and be able to maintain a Secret security clearance. 
• Ability to deploy internationally or domestically for up to one year.
• Willing and able to deploy to environments that may include harsh living conditions. (extreme heat, and cold, deployed living conditions and/or hazardous duty environment)
• Ability to travel to demonstrations, events, etc. when not deployed. (50-75% travel)
• Must have a valid passport with at least 12 months remaining before expiration.
• Strong technical and computer skills, including operation of Linux and Windows based operating systems.
• Basic understanding of networking and system infrastructure.
• Aptitude for learning new technologies quickly.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Aptitude for communicating technical concepts & details clearly.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot, problem solve and perform root cause analysis in dynamic environments.
• Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Ability to be proactive and work independently.
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.o May need to carry up stairways and/or ladders.
• Prior radar knowledge or experience is a plus.
• Prior drone (UAV) experience is a plus.
