Profile Painter - Day Shift

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Flooring Profile Painter to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for painting composite flooring profiles used in commercial and industrial flooring systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial painting equipment and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and production standards.

• Prepare flooring profiles for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, or applying primer as necessary.

• Apply paint or coatings using spray guns or other painting equipment per production specifications.

• Inspect surfaces before and after painting to ensure quality and consistency of finish.

• Maintain accurate records of materials used, paint batch numbers, and completed units.

• Mix paints and coatings according to specified ratios and manufacturer instructions.

• Ensure proper setup and cleaning of painting equipment and booths.

• Work closely with quality control and production teams to meet daily output and quality goals.

• Follow all safety protocols including proper use of PPE and handling of hazardous materials.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor promptly.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• 1+ year of experience in industrial or manufacturing painting preferred.

• Familiarity with spray painting equipment, powder coating (optional), and safety procedures.

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and basic blueprints.

• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
