A critical process in INL’s mission is to advance public trust within INL by testing the efficacy of the Bureau’s management controls and regulatory compliance, to identify, assess and mitigate various risks associated with INL programming.

POSITION OVERVIEW

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Under this BPA Call, the Program Analyst will assist the INL/SAO/AT team in meeting the Bureau's enterprise risk management, management controls, and records management needs. The Program Analyst supports the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across Bureau programs and operations in compliance with OMB Circular A-123 and other relevant guidance. In addition, the Program Analyst advances organizational effectiveness and compliance by testing the efficacy of the Bureau's management controls, ensuring adherence to records management requirements including Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) processing and records retention policies, and assisting with special projects that strengthen internal operations and regulatory compliance.

Hours for this full-time position will be Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, incorporating the core hours of the Department of State (9:00 AM to 3:00 PM).

The physical work location is at INL/SAO/AT's office at State Annex-1, 2401 E Street NW, Washington, DC 20037.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
A Secret security clearance is required for this position; however, the Analyst may begin work with an interim Secret security clearance.
