Position Summary
The Program Analyst serves as a critical liaison between program staff, the Business Systems & Data and IT teams, and organizational stakeholders responsible for reporting, compliance, and funding requirements.
This position is responsible for assessing and improving business processes related to data collection, program operations, reporting, and performance management. The Program Analyst works closely with end users to understand operational needs, translate those needs into system requirements, develop workflows and standard operating procedures, and ensure accurate and consistent data collection across programs.
The Program Analyst helps ensure that organizational data systems support program effectiveness, grant compliance, performance measurement, and strategic decision-making. This position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement, user adoption, and data integrity throughout the organization.

Established in 1970, Serving Seniors helps San Diego County’s low-income seniors overcome poverty through whole-person, wraparound support including meals, housing, health and social services, and enrichment activities. We work at numerous sites across the county and in the homes of hundreds of homebound seniors. Our flagship Gary & Mary West Senior Wellness Center in downtown San Diego is unlike any other senior center in the nation. Bringing together a range of supportive services under one roof, the Senior Wellness Center operates 365 days a year and offers two floors of integrated care, including health and social services, housing navigation, enrichment activities, lifelong learning, a Cyber Café and linkage to over 25 onsite direct service partners, including a senior dental center. Last fiscal year, we provided over 1.5 million meals and coordinated services to over 13,265 older adults.

· Bachelor’s Degree required
· 3 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in data management and advanced Excel
· Experience working with nonprofits preferred Experience in database development

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to normal risks of working in an office environment (e.g., risks due to heavy computer use). In addition, there are risks and exposures specific to working with vulnerable populations.
