Job Description - Program Coordinator - Orlando and Tampa
We’re looking for a Program Coordinator who can own and orchestrate our care model, GLP-based comprehensive program, end-to-end ensuring patients are enrolled correctly, workflows run smoothly, services are coordinated across teams, and billing (cash vs insurance) is accurate and compliant. This role sits at the center of clinical operations, patient experience, and revenue integrity. Company Overview We are a growing endocrinology practice building a modern, whole-person care model that integrates GLP-based metabolic care, Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM), Principal Care Management (PCM), nutrition services, and behavioral therapy. Key Responsibilities
GLP Program Enrollment & Onboarding
Manage GLP program enrollment from first patient interest through activation
Educate patients on program structure, expectations, and care cadence
Explain cash-pay vs insurance-covered components clearly and confidently
Coordinate intake, labs, provider visits, consents, and financial agreements
Patient Experience & Program Optimization
Act as a trusted point of contact for program-related questions
Deliver a high-touch, concierge-level patient experience
Track enrollment, retention, and utilization of metrics
Identify workflow improvements to support scaling and growth
Workflow & Care Coordination (End-to-End) Own workflows across:
GLP clinical care
Nutrition services
Behavioral therapy
Coordinate handoffs between front desk, providers, care agents, dietitians, and therapists
Track patient progress and proactively address delays, drop-offs, or engagement risks
Partner with other GMS programs to identify patients for internal referrals
Relationship Development
Help Develop and Identify Local Partner Resources and Relationships
Physical Fitness
Behavioral Health
Nutrition
Aid management incorporating these relationships into patient/provider workflow
Billing Oversight (Cash vs Insurance)
Serve as the program-level liaison between operations and billing teams
Maintain clear separation between: Cash-pay GLP programs and Insurance-billed nutrition and therapy services
Reporting and Communication
Provide a weekly flash report to the CEO every Friday, summarizing outreach activity, referral trends, issues and opportunities
Maintain accurate logs of visits, meetings, partner activity and material distribution
Develop monthly summaries on provider engagement, referral conversions and upcoming opportunities
Qualifications
Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration or related field
3+ years’ experience in healthcare operations, care coordination, or program management
Experience with chronic care, endocrinology, or metabolic programs strongly preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
Comfort working with EHRs, spreadsheets, and operational trackers
Familiarity with:
Nutrition and behavioral health coordination
Cash-pay healthcare models and insurance workflows
Bilingual English and Spanish prefer
Working Conditions
Hybrid position – Travel required between our Tampa and Orlando practices.
Schedule: Monday – Friday
