Program Manager
Program: Milestones Community-Based Day Services (CBDS)
Location: Northampton, MA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Salary: $50,000/yr

Lead with Purpose. Build Community Through Connection.
At ServiceNet’s Milestones program, we believe in the power of community-based experiences to enrich lives, spark creativity, and foster growth. Each day, individuals in our CBDS and School Transition services engage in relationship-building, cooking, arts, self-advocacy, music, yoga, sports, and community outings. Now, we’re looking for a Program Director who can guide this vibrant and meaningful work.

If you’re a collaborative, organized, and mission-driven leader who’s passionate about supporting people with disabilities—and ready to take on both the day-to-day operations and the long-term vision—this is your opportunity.

About the Role:
As the Program Director, you’ll oversee all aspects of Milestones’ CBDS and School Transition services—supporting staff, maintaining program excellence, managing referrals, and ensuring high-quality care that reflects our core values of dignity, inclusion, and respect. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring flexibility, creativity, and a commitment to accountability.

Role Summary:
Program Oversight & Planning

  • Oversee day-to-day delivery of CBDS and School Transition services

  • Develop program schedules, coordinate community-based activities, and ensure appropriate groupings and curriculum

  • Facilitate weekly team meetings and guide team-wide communication and consistency

Leadership & Supervision

  • Manage a team of 5+ direct support staff

  • Provide regular supervision, support professional development, and lead trainings related to programming and service delivery

  • Ensure supervisory coverage during all program hours and act as emergency response lead when needed

Service Coordination & Compliance

  • Manage admissions, discharges, and ISP processes in coordination with DDS, schools, and families

  • Oversee documentation including assessments, semi-annual reports, and HCSIS entries

  • Monitor contract adherence, licensure standards, and service quality benchmarks

Operations & Communication

  • Track attendance and support timely billing processes

  • Collaborate with Director of Operations on budget development and compliance

  • Maintain communication with families regarding logistics, events, and individual support

  • Address facilities needs to ensure a safe, welcoming environment

Strategic Initiatives & Representation

  • Participate in agency-wide committees and initiatives

  • Represent Milestones at community events and within fundraising and marketing efforts

  • Stay informed of trends and contribute to future service development

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field; or 5+ years of experience in Human Services

  • At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities and co-occurring needs

  • Proven experience managing a team, including conducting training and leading team meetings

  • Comfort with electronic records and program-level reporting

  • Ability to work from both our Northampton and (eventually) Hadley locations as needed

Why Work With Us?
Because you believe in community, purpose, and potential. At ServiceNet, you’ll be part of a collaborative team making a daily impact—and supported by a mission-driven organization that values professional growth and meaningful work.

Benefits:

  • Generous PTO (paid time off) package

  • Mileage reimbursement

  • Comprehensive health and dental insurance

  • Life insurance and long-term disability coverage

  • 403(b) retirement plan

  • Tuition remission and assistance for eligible courses

  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility

  • Ongoing professional development and career advancement opportunities

  • And more!
