Inspired by the production of Alicia Keys’ Hell’s Kitchen, Kaleidoscope Dreams Foundation collaborates with local communities to build and share multi-disciplinary arts programming designed to spark creative potential. By leveraging the transformative power of the arts, KDF partners with community-based organizations to offer belonging, educational enrichment, and professional pathways for historically underrepresented communities.
We connect communities, cultivate creativity, and create pathways for the next generation of artists, leaders, and cultural stewards through arts access, education, and engagement.

● Cultural Access: Free and curated access to Broadway, museums, and cultural events
● Educational Enrichment: In-school arts education and classroom resources
● Professional Pathways: Fellowship, mentorship, internships, and creative training
● Community Engagement: Building connection through intergenerational, neighborhood programs.
The Job
The Program Director is a key member of the leadership team and will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of all Kaleidoscope Dreams Foundation programs. This includes direct oversight of our four core program areas: Cultural Access, Educational Enrichment, Professional Pathways, and Community Engagement.
This role requires a dynamic, detail-oriented, and community-centered individual who can build strong partnerships, lead effective teams, and deliver high-quality programs that align with the foundation’s mission and values.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Director will supervise program staff, contractors, and partners while managing logistics, budgets, and impact tracking.
Your Roles and Responsibilities
Program Strategy and Leadership
● Co-design, lead, and oversee the delivery of KDF programs.
● Develop and refine program curricula, fellowship structures, and learning resources.
● Align programming with organizational values and strategic goals.
● Evaluate and iterate programs based on community feedback and impact data.
● Strongly and positively represent KD to other arts, education, and civic institutions to promote constructive working partnerships in the community.
Community and Cultural Partnership Development
● Build and sustain relationships with schools, artists, teaching artists, and cultural institutions.
● Represent KDF in partnerships with community-based organizations and arts networks.
● Serve as liaison for program collaboration with Hell's Kitchen and other cultural partners.
● Liaise with and support teaching artists serving at local partnership schools and onsite programs.
Operations and Management
● Coordinate program schedules, logistics, and communication across all stakeholders.
● Recruit and train teaching artists, contractors, and other support staff as need.
● Supervise teaching artists, contractors, and other program delivery staff.
● Manage program budgets in collaboration with the Executive Director.
● Track key metrics for internal learning, external reporting, and impact storytelling.
Who Are We Looking For?
Professional Experience
● 5–7+ years leading or managing arts, education, or cultural programs preferred.
● Experience working with youth, artists, and communities historically excluded from arts access.
● Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and project management skills.
● Ability to manage complex partnerships and program logistics with attention to detail.
● Bilingual skills are a plus.

Salary and Benefits
● Salary: $100,000–$120,000/year, commensurate with experience
● Benefits: Benefits package includes health insurance stipend, technology stipend, paid time off, flexible hybrid schedule, professional development support
● Based in New York City
