Job Description - Program Director



Full-time


Description

This position has primary responsibility to oversee all programs providing services to clients within Crossroads Community, Inc.; serves as a member of the Director Team sharing joint responsibility for ensuring the successful implementation of the agency’s goals and objectives; promote the use of data to plan, manage and evaluate programs, as well as drive quality management activities. It includes supervising Program Coordinators and other staff as assigned, ensuring that services and staff providing them are meeting all legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Prefer Masters Level licensed MH Professional or Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Professional (CPRP) and Child and Family Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Professional (CFCPRP). BA in related field required.
  • At least five years’ experience managing behavioral health or related human services in a non-profit environment.
  • Commitment to CCI’s mission, values, ethics, and organizational culture.
  • Ability to build partnerships with agencies.
  • Ability to manage grants and contracts.
  • Strategic thinking and demonstrated success in program innovation. Track record of developing/expanding programming.
  • Ability to hire and retain program staff and leading through transitions and growth.
  • Exceptional managerial ability, with an inclusive leadership style, skills in group process and talent for working with diverse staff using a strengths-based approach.
  • Highly developed skills in coaching management staff to develop high-performance teams and to develop and implement program strategies.
  • Proven track record managing within a results-based framework, delivering high quality programs, and leveraging data to drive continuous learning and program improvement.
  • Skills in program planning, project management, reporting and measurement
  • Skills in using data to inform program evaluation.
  • Ability to implement quality systems.
  • Is mission-driven, self-directed, and can function well in an evolving organizational environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • In-state travel is required, current Maryland driver’s license and access to own vehicle.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required for all employees.
