Full-Time Exempt: 40 Hours/week

We are seeking a talented Program Director to join our team of nearly 500 employees. The Program Director will be responsible for the overall direction and day-to-day operations of the Engaging Fathers Program, including maintaining a partnership with Monroe County DHS, managing relationships with partner agencies, developing and maintaining relationships with the community, coordination of the services to be provided by partners, receiving and triaging referrals from DHS and maintaining communication with Monroe County DHS caseworkers/other DHS staff.

The successful candidate for this position will be an individual who is representative of and has established relationships with the communities served and demonstrates knowledge and understanding of cultural nuances and the provision of culturally competent interventions.

CCSI is partnering with Monroe County DHS to hire a Program Director. This position is employed by CCSI and working on behalf of Engaging Fathers.

In this role, you will 

  • Oversee daily operations of the Engaging Fathers Program.
  • Build and lead a high performing team dedicated to fulfilling the program’s mission through successful program implementation, community engagement, and collaboration with Monroe County DHS Child and Family Services.
  • Mentor and support the Father Advocates in outreach and engagement to fathers referred.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the program is integrated with Monroe County DHS’s Child and Family Services, ensuring organization mission and strategy are fulfilled.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant community members, agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate services to be provided by partner agencies.
  • Triage referrals from Monroe County DHS.
  • Maintain effective communication with Monroe County DHS caseworkers and other Monroe County DHS staff.
  • Serve as an advocate for Fathers.
  • Ensure alignment with and adherence to vision of the program among all stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and development, staying updated on HR and employee-related policies, best practices and regulatory compliance expectations.
  • Develop and maintain program policy and procedure.
  • Be responsible for fiscal integrity of the program, to include review of annual budget and monthly financial statements.
  • Be responsible for timely and accurate submissions of invoicing, financial statements, and expense reports.
  • Be responsible for oversight of grant funding, reporting requirements, outcome measures, and consideration of future sustainability efforts.
  • Provide training and resources to stakeholders and referring staff, as well as professional development of Fatherhood Specialists.
  • Lead the Engaging Fathers Advisory Board.
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

What You Bring 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart) 
  • Desired skills and experience include strong communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse group of stakeholders, facilitation skills to promote and sustain collaboration and strong management skills.
  • Is a representative of and has established relationships with the communities served and demonstrates knowledge and understanding of cultural nuances and the provision of culturally competent interventions. 

Required for this position are:

  • Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
  • Valid Class D New York State Driver License and access to motor vehicle insured with $300,000 liability coverage to meet transportation requirements of position
