Program Lead

We are seeking a Program Lead, Air Force/Space Force in Reston, VA in a hybrid capacity OR local to Colorado Springs, CO, San Antonio, TX, or Boston, MA.

Job Details:

Swift is expanding our footprint into the Air Force and Space Force markets, and we’re looking for a mission-driven Program Lead to spearhead the charge. This is a high-impact role for someone who knows how to build from scratch, understands the technical landscape, and still has their finger on the pulse of what’s happening in these communities.

You’ll be responsible for leading our initial engagements, driving capture strategies, and delivering excellence from day one. We need a connector, a builder, and a leader, someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to turn white space into revenue.

• Lead Swift’s growth into Air Force and Space Force markets, with a focus on building programs from the ground up


• Shape technical solutions and align Swift capabilities with mission needs across software, data, and cyber domains


• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (government, industry, and mission partners)


• Support business development and capture efforts by identifying opportunities and leading technical solutioning


• Oversee program execution as new contracts are awarded, ensuring delivery aligns with mission and customer expectations


• Serve as a strategic advisor to internal teams on Air Force and Space Force culture, needs, and buying patterns

Requirements:

• Deep familiarity with Air Force and/or Space Force programs, mission sets, and acquisition strategies


• Proven success in growing work organically, especially in earlier stage or emerging programs


• Strong technical acumen across data engineering, software development, AI/ML, or cyber operations


• Existing network within the DoD/IC, particularly across relevant PEOs, PMOs, or mission commands


• Experience leading cross-functional teams and interfacing directly with government customers


• Bonus if you’ve supported both services and product-based offerings in prior roles


• Must be open to 25% travel


• US citizenship and an active Secret security clearance required (TS/SCI Preferred)

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00

Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
