Children’s Therapy Center is looking for a Program Lead – Family Support Services to support and oversee our Play and Learn (P&L) and Family Resource Navigation (FRN) programs across King and Pierce Counties. This leadership role ensures programs operate with fidelity, equity, and a high standard of family-centered service delivery. The Program Lead provides direct supervision, coaching, training, and support to employees while also maintaining a reduced Family Resource Navigation caseload and supporting Play and Learn facilitation coverage as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Team Supervision
• Lead, coach, support, and develop Play and Learn and Family Resource Navigation team members.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and welcoming environment for employees, children, families, and community partners.
• Monitor team caseloads, workflow, and service delivery expectations; provide coaching and performance management support as needed.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, orientation, employee development, and performance review processes for direct reports.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, facilitate team meetings and in-services, and support professional development planning.
• Approve timesheets and mileage for direct reports.
• Attend leadership meetings and collaborate across programs and departments.
• Provide operational coverage and support for program activities as needed.
Program Oversight & Quality Assurance
• Ensure culturally responsive, linguistically appropriate, and strengths-based services across both programs.
• Support intake, outreach, and equitable access to services for families across King and Pierce Counties.
• Conduct documentation audits and ensure compliance with organizational policies, timelines, grant requirements, and program standards.
• Support employees in navigating complex family situations and escalated concerns.
• Collaborate on process improvement efforts, written procedures, and best practices.
• Support grant compliance activities, data collection, and reporting processes.
Play and Learn Facilitation & Oversight
• Maintain active knowledge of Play and Learn curriculum and facilitation practices.
• Provide facilitation coverage and support Play and Learn sessions as needed.
• Support staff with instructional coaching and facilitation strategies.
• Ensure Play and Learn environments are safe, inclusive, adaptive, and engaging for children and caregivers.
• Develop and support activities and resources that promote play-based learning and caregiver engagement.
• Collect participant feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Create and distribute a quarterly family-facing newsletter highlighting community resources and program updates.
Family Resource Navigation Caseload
• Maintain a reduced Family Resource Navigation caseload serving children ages 0–18 and their families.
• Support families in accessing community resources including healthcare, educational services, housing, therapy programs, and disability supports.
• Assist families in navigating barriers and advocating for needed services.
• Document services, referrals, and family plans in accordance with CTC policies and HIPAA requirements.
• Participate in caseload reviews and identify trends and opportunities for program improvement.
• Model high-quality family engagement, cultural responsiveness, and documentation practices.
• Build relationships with community organizations and participate in outreach activities.

Schedule/Worksite:
This is a full-time position that includes a reduced Family Resource Navigation caseload (approximately 25–50% of the role), alongside program leadership and supervisory responsibilities. The role requires a minimum of 3 full days per week working onsite Monday–Friday, with flexibility to increase in-person presence based on organizational and program needs. Limited remote work may be available for up to 2 days per week, depending on the needs of the work and role.
Onsite participation is required for Play and Learn facilitation coverage, team meetings, leadership meetings, and other required cross-program or organizational meetings.
The primary office location will be determined based on organizational needs; however, regular local travel between Children’s Therapy Center locations in Burien, Kent, Maple Valley, and Tacoma, as well as community settings across King and Pierce Counties, is required to support program operations, employees, and families.
What We Offer:
Children’s Therapy Center offers equitable, competitive pay based on job-related experience and education. The annual pay range for this position is $81,744-$121,262 depending on relevant background and qualifications.

Employees may enroll in our retirement plan starting with their first paycheck, with employer contributions beginning after one year of service.
