The Program Management Specialist provides support for the Office of Continuing Education and External programs that is responsible for the development, implementation and management of the non-credit academic program, the admission of dual enrollment and continuing education students, and in increasing the growth of existing programs and development of new programs. S/he will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Continuing Education and External programs in the planning, implementation, and oversight of continuing education and professional development programs that align with Bowie State University’s mission of excellence in education, innovation, and community engagement. This position also is responsible for managing program operations, coordinating resources, promoting awareness, and ensuring program effectiveness to enhance student success and institutional growth.Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of routine professional and analytical assignments involving the practical application of management principles and techniques to routine operational activities.
