Description:

Location Details: This role is hybrid with approximately 1 day/week on-site at the FAA headquarters in Washington D.C.

Evans is hiring a Program Management Support Consultant resource to join their growing team in one of their contracts in Washington DC. You will perform support functions that assist in executing strategic alignment and supporting client program needs. We are seeking someone who demonstrates proven success in supporting cross-functional teams, stakeholder engagement, analytical reporting, and strategic advisory needs.

  • Serve as PM support to the Program Manager helping to manage program delivery, supporting operational needs, and advising on ways to improve employee-management relationships and internal dynamics.
  • Support strategic alignment, direction, and resources to accomplish its mission, vision, and goals.
  • Support refinement, communication, and implementation of the organization design to support the group’s mission.
  • Act as a principal specialist, utilizing skills to apply the principals of program/project management and strategy development to lead ad hoc teams in managing systems engineering analysis and program execution.
  • Developing PowerPoint presentations to support senior leadership awareness and decision making.
  • Develop and implement team building initiatives, including the planning and delivery of recurring team meetings.
  • Support formulation and review of major reports on projects, programs, change management and other work activities for internal and external distribution.
  • Support meeting planning and coordination, to include stakeholder outreach, logistics, note taking, and tracking actions.
  • Support technical interchange meetings between government and contractor personnel, including meeting facilitation, framing of agendas, taking notes, action item tracking, following up on actions with the responsible action owners, and reporting on status of actions.
  • Skilled in stakeholder identification, outreach, and management.
Requirements:
  • Prior FAA experience is required.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on professional experience, preferably in a program management context.
  • A BA/BS in any discipline is required. A Masters’ degree in any field (e.g., MS, MA, MBA) counts for three years additional experience.
  • Experience in project management, change management, program support, and data analysis.
  • Experience with organization development processes to develop, improve, and reinforce strategies and structures to advise on methods to improve business capacity.
  • Experience facilitating meetings with varying numbers of participants.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand both meaning as well as intent of writing and develop appropriate response strategies to both elements.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and to support FAA management, including executive levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Excel.
