We are looking for a Program Manager in Norfolk, VA.

SUMMARY:

Provide aviation administrative services to support squadron personnel for the Commander, Naval Air Forces (CNAF).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Provide Squadron Administration services, meeting Navy policy and instruction mandates, to ensure responsive and efficient administration service requirements are met.
• Process leaves, pay, personnel and check in/check out requirements in an accurate and timely manner per established guidelines and directives.
• Provide travel services to personnel to ensure efficient processing of orders, travel arrangements, and invoice processing.
• Management of the Citibank Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) program.

Requirements

• A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in supervisory or managerial position in a U.S. Navy activity (preferred), Department of Defense (DoD) or U.S. Coast Guard activity (acceptable) as a uniformed service member, civil servant or contractor employee performing Routine Administrative, Personnel Administrative Support Services, or Travel Administrative Support Services.
• US NAVY Aviation Experience - O3 and above required
• Knowledge of Navy correspondence and records management procedures.
• Experience with Navy Aviation Squadron organizational structure and their relationships to Type Wing Commanders and Type Commanders.
• Acceptable: Knowledge of correspondence and record management procedures used by Department of Defense (DoD) components or the U.S. Coast Guard other than the U.S. Navy.
• Working knowledge of the Defense Travel System (DTS).
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree
• Active Secret Clearance

Preference given to: Supervisory or managerial position in a U.S. Navy activity.
