About the Position: The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is seeking a Programs Manager I within the Addiction Services division at Central Administration in Oklahoma City, OK. This position plays a key role in supporting and enhancing best practices within the statewide addiction service system. The Programs Manager I will oversee contract management and program implementation for substance use treatment services. This includes ensuring provider compliance, facilitating service coordination, and linking treatment providers with technical assistance and training resources. Additionally, this individual will collaborate with other community-based organizations, state agencies, and stakeholders to improve access, quality, and outcomes in addiction treatment services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee contracts with substance use treatment providers and residential treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Serve as a point of contact between ODMHSAS, contracted treatment providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate service coordination and system improvements.
Provide technical assistance and support to providers to enhance service delivery, improve treatment outcomes, and implement evidence-based practices.
Monitor program performance, analyze data, and contribute to quality improvement efforts within addiction services.
Collaborate with community partners, state agencies, and stakeholders to strengthen the continuum of care for substance use treatment.
Assist in developing policies, guidelines, and training initiatives to support system-wide best practices.
Participate in grant management and reporting activities related to addiction treatment programs.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, social work, sociology, public health, or a related field.
Experience: Three years of experience in behavioral health, social work, substance use treatment, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
Substance use treatment services and program oversight
Knowledge of or experience working within residential treatment settings
Contract and grants management.
Policy development and implementation within behavioral health.
Preferred Licensure: Preference may be given to candidates who hold an active Oklahoma Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (LBHP) credential.
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel requirements and maintain a valid driver’s license.
