Sigma is currently looking for a Program Manager at the Department of Energy NNSA located in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. This position requires a candidate who can work independently and collaboratively, thrives on exceeding expectations, is highly organized, and is adept in working on multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously.
What You Will Do:
- Provides oversight and management to overall contract operations and personnel.
- Maintains and manages relationships with senior level management within the client organization.
- Responsible for quality standards and work performance on the contract.
- Plans, organizes, and oversees work efforts.
- Assigns resources and manages personnel.
- Provides risk management and ensures quality management.
- This role supports NNSA Executive Secretariat office with NNSA's top-level communications that form a key component of NNSA's interaction with the Department, the White House, Congress, other governmental agencies, and the public.
- Included within this role is correspondence analysis, classified document control, mail intake and output, internal and Interagency collaborations, development and technical support of training materials, writing and editing correspondence and other documentation, reports to Congress, records management, and internal and external correspondence to the public and to all levels of government, including Congress. NA-ES, as a representative of the NNSA Administrator, must also provide support as needed to all NNSA program and functional offices.
- Key groups it works to reach include members of Congress and their staffs, state, interagency, tribal, and local governments, and leaders; the press; and members of the public with an interest in NNSA's missions.
- NA-ES also provides office administration and support to the Immediate Office of the Administrator (NA-1), this includes administrative, travel, scheduling, and secretarial support.
What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Requires a minimum of 3-years of professional relevant work experience.
- Required education: Bachelor's degree
- All staff under this assignment shall have the ability to currently possess or obtain a DOE/NNSA "Q" Clearance
