Program Manager, Clinical Simulation

Our team is building new collaborations, expanding community connection to care, and driving statewide maternal and infant health quality improvement initiatives.
Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative (CPCQC) is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works with healthcare facilities, community-based organizations, families in Colorado, and national partners to advance best practices that reduce disparities and improve outcomes in maternal and infant health.
Role Summary
The Program Manager, Clinical Simulation leads the day-to-day implementation, coordination, and evaluation of CPCQC’s simulation-based training portfolio. This is a full-time role responsible for running the operational engine behind CPCQC’s live, simulation-based trainings, including managing budgets, partner and site relationships, scheduling and logistics, co-leading trainings, and overseeing data collection and evaluation across these programs.
CPCQC’s current simulation portfolio includes, but is not limited to, obstetric emergency readiness training for rural emergency department (ED) and emergency medical service (EMS) teams; oversight and coordination of the AWHONN Obstetric Patient Safety Course; and Respectful Maternal Care simulation training delivered both onsite at the CU Anschutz Center for Advancing Professional Excellence (CAPE) and on hospital campuses statewide. The Program Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, implementation, and continuous improvement of these programs, while helping to develop, test, refine, and scale new simulation offerings as the portfolio grows.
The ideal candidate is a skilled healthcare professional with experience coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. They bring strong organizational and relationship-management skills, budget oversight experience, and foundational evaluation skills including survey development, data reporting, and basic descriptive analysis. Experience in healthcare quality improvement is highly desirable.

Position Details and Compensation
This is a full-time, salaried position based in Colorado. Candidates must reside in Colorado or relocate to Colorado within six months of the hire date at their own expense. While this position is primarily remote, it requires regular travel throughout Colorado to support simulation training and other in-person meetings and events. At a minimum, candidates should expect to travel approximately one week per quarter, with additional travel as needed to support program activities. Because this role leads obstetric emergency simulation training, candidates must be willing and able to travel independently to rural and frontier communities across the state and have reliable transportation.
The annual salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000 based on qualifications. This position also includes a benefits package (medical, dental, retirement, FSA), 401k, and unlimited paid time off. Travel, lodging, mileage, and training-related expenses are reimbursed separately.
