Job Description - Program Manager (Designated Coordinator)

We are looking for a Program Manager to lead a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and assist individuals with disabilities in their day-to-day activities. You will build relationships with the people in the homes, communities, and help achieve their goals. This role offers the chance to make a positive impact by partnering with your team, stakeholders, and the people you support.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, document, and nurture annual plans with the individuals you support and their teams.
Manage both hourly and 24-hour services, ensuring individuals receive the support they need.
Recruit, train, schedule, and develop your team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
Collaborate and communicate with guardians, case managers, and other Mains’l team members.
Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to teams and people supported.
Model and maintain high expectations for excellence in service delivery.
Manage resources wisely and stay within budgetary guidelines.

Position: Full-Time Program Manager
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Salary: $53,310 annually

Qualifications:
You must meet one of the following qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in a field related to human services, education, or health, plus one year of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, or equivalent experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
An associate degree in a field related to human services, education, or health, plus two years of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, or equivalent experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
A diploma in a field related to human services, education, or health from an accredited institution, plus three years of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, or equivalent experience working with vulnerable adults or children.
A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities, plus four years of full-time experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or individuals age 65 and older, under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications listed in (1) to (3).

Additional Requirements:

At least 18 years of age.
Valid Minnesota driver’s license.
Reliable transportation with valid insurance coverage.
Ability to pass a background check through the Department of Human Services (DHS).
1-2 years of Supervisory experience preferred
