Job Description - Program Manager - Family Welcome Center

Description

The Family Welcome Center is a culturally responsive hub designed to support newly arriving Haitian and Latin families as they navigate life in a new country. We provide access to essential services, community resources, and a warm, inclusive environment where families can feel safe, seen, and supported.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Program Manager to lead our efforts in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed services to immigrant families, while building strong community partnerships and guiding a dedicated team.

What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference:

  • Create a warm and welcoming environment to support newly arriving children and families
  • Responsible for the reaching out to community resources and volunteers
  • Connect with children and families to assess basic needs and complete applications for support
  • Monitor community needs
  • Provide administrative supervision to all FWC staff 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Driving is required

Requirements

Qualifications/Credentials

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Field OR related experience 
  • Language capacity in Haitian Creole and/or Spanish required
  • Must also be fluent in English
  • Understanding of local systems and resources
