Lead global project teams through uncertainty by establishing program structure, operating cadence, objectives, and performance measurement. Foster collaboration at all levels of the organization; across functions and between multiple manufacturing locations. Accountable for program scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments. Effectively manage interactions with third party suppliers and external customers; ensure compliance to contractual terms. Work with product line leaders to accurately forecast, monitor, and report on program financials. Create and maintain detailed schedules using Microsoft Project, highlighting interdependencies between teams and holding team members accountable. Drive the team toward proactive decision making, considering difficult trade-offs between existing operational processes and customer value propositions. Employ effective requirements and change management techniques. Assess and promptly communicate potential impacts of any changes and recommendations to stakeholders. Maintain a robust Communications Plan, inclusive of regular presentations to senior leaders. Prepare and publish formal program metrics and reports on a (minimum) monthly basis. Lead teams in program risk assessment and deployment of sound mitigation strategies. Monitor risk and take decisive and early action to resolve any issues. Participate in annual planning processes. Understand CPA strategic plans and help determine project priorities within the portfolio. Engage and mentor other PMs in the PMO community; help with implementation of improvement action plans and standardization of PM best practices. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 5 years of experience in program and project management methodologies, processes, and tools. Minimum 5 years of experience in any of these key functional areas: Engineering, Manufacturing, or OPEX/Continuous Improvement. Minimum 3 years of experience with new product development (NPD) programs and stage gate processes. Able to travel up to 25% annually. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Master's degree or MBA from an accredited institution. 3 years of experience in power distribution equipment engineering or manufacturing.
