Job Summary:

This exciting leadership role oversees two key statewide workforce programs that help employers meet hiring needs, navigate workforce challenges, and access workforce solutions. As the Program Manager for Maine JobLink and Foreign Labor Programs, you will lead a dedicated team committed to exceptional service while navigating complex programs and regulations. This role offers the opportunity to mentor and develop employees, build strong partnerships, improve systems and processes, and ensure programs remain responsive, effective, and accessible. Minimum qualifications:
An eight (8) year combination of education and/or experience demonstrating progressively responsible experience in developing and administering employment and training programs.
Preference will be given to those with:

Relationship and Customer Focus, including the ability to build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with employers, staff, and partners while providing responsive, service-oriented support;
Communication, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally, present information, and explain complex topics in a clear and accessible manner to diverse audiences;
Regulations and Program Integrity, including the ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies practically while ensuring consistent, fair, and compliant program delivery;
Data-Informed Problem Solving, including the ability to use data, analysis, and observation to assess performance, identify issues, and support informed decisions that improve programs and outcomes; and
Organization and Adaptability, including the ability to manage daily program operations using technology and systems, remain organized in a changing environment, and improve processes to increase efficiency and service quality.
