Job Summary:

Develop and implement the Program Quality process for Youth Development programs across the association. Provide culturally responsive, relationship-based coaching that accelerates professional development, strengthens Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), improves youth program quality, and ultimately promotes positive outcomes for youth.

Minimum compensation:

$32.00-36.00/hr

Responsibilities:
Manages data sets and evaluation scores from Youth Development programs using tools like PQA, Fidelity Checklists and other tools as deployed. Support and manage the data and record-keeping elements of site-based goals and Association wide objectives that drive quality improvements for youth in our programs.
Supports assessments at various sites and facilitates coaching sessions using assessment results to identify program improvement and professional development opportunities.
Professionally communicates confidential and evaluative information with program staff related to quality improvement and staff development.
May assist in delivery and/or coordination of training and technical assistance services to support implementation of the quality action plan.
Manages the annual schedule for assessments and peer review related to the PQI cycle.
Manages the logistics of training for staff meetings and organizing trainings.
Attends staff meetings and trainings as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
College degree in education, human development, recreation, social work, counseling or other relevant field or equivalent experience. Other applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position will be considered.
Three (3) years or more of experience working in youth development programs.
One+ (1+) years of experience delivering coaching or technical assistance to youth-serving programs and a demonstrated understanding of/or familiarity with program quality and assessment tools.
Strong customer service skills, responding to multiple questions by phone, email and in person. Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict.
Strong computer skills and experience working with word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
Demonstrated attention to detail and confidentiality of evaluative information.
Knowledge of standard office equipment such as copiers and phone systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with the Weikart Center Program Quality Intervention process including completion of Basics and Youth Work Methods Training of Trainers is a plus.
One (1) year or more of supervisory experience in childcare/youth development program.
Prior experience in training coordination and implementation
Knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.).
Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
Other combinations of applicable education, training, and experience which provide the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to perform effectively in the position may be considered.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

TRAVEL
Travel is primarily local, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.

Full time Monday-Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
