We do that by facilitating hands-on, educational activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, structured play and more, all in a safely organized after school program setting.

• School Age Program (August - May) Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 6:00pm 
  Pay: $17.50/hour *$18.02/hour after 6 months*

  Alpenglow - Aquarian Charter - Chester Valley - Chugach Optional - Chugiak - Denali - Gladys Wood - Government Hill - Inlet View - Huffman - O'Malley - Oceanview - Ravenwood - Rogers Park - Sand Lake - Scenic Park - Trailside

Position:

Program Staff: Work between 20 -25 hours per week (average), supervising activities with groups of up to 10 kids.
4 hours daily of site time, up to 1-2 additional hours daily for meetings and trainings (times vary)

• Qualifications –
  
  
  
  • Minimum age limit is 16 years old
  
  
  • Ability to transport yourself to work (school site, Camp Fire office)
  
  
  
  


• Preferred - 
  
  
  
  • Experience working with kids in a group setting is preferred
  
  
  • Experience, training, or education in youth development, education, or recreation is preferred
  
  
  
  

REQUIREMENTS: (can be acquired after hire with agreed upon schedule):
Adult/Child/Infant CPR, AED & First Aid 
Food Worker Card 
Mandated Reporter training certificate
Health & Safety certificate
