Position Summary:

The Program Supervisor of School-Linked Behavioral Health Services oversees the delivery of Targeted Case Management (TCM) and Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS), while also providing staff supervision and training to ensure excellence across three key areas: client outcomes, employee engagement, and operational effectiveness.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with recruitment efforts by participating in interview panels and offering feedback on candidates. 
• Coordinate and facilitate comprehensive orientation and ongoing training for all new program staff, in collaboration with the Program Manager and Clinical Supervisors.
• Review the documentation of all SLBH staff, both new and current, and provide constructive feedback to staff and the clinical supervisor.
• Provide supervision and mentoring of Mental Health Practitioners, focusing on enhancing the quality of care provided to the individuals we support.  
• Evaluate the productivity and documentation of Mental Health Practitioners, identify opportunities for improvement and provide guidance to address any deficiencies. 
• Actively participate in all SLBH program meetings, multidisciplinary, and SLBH staff meetings.
• Conduct monthly observations of SLBH practitioners during individual and group sessions in their school setting and provide constructive feedback.  
• Deliver monthly feedback on practitioners to the Program Manager, both verbally and in writing.
• Contribute to program development by identifying service delivery gaps and recommending strategies to enhance program effectiveness.
• Gather and analyze feedback from guardians to assess client and family satisfaction with services provided and identify areas for improvement.
• Review and assess program policies and procedures and provide feedback to the Program Manager for necessary updates or improvements.
• Provide coverage as needed to deliver individual and group skills training, as well as Targeted Case Management (TCM) services, to the individuals we support.
• Manage an assigned caseload as determined by the Program Manager, based on program needs.
• Assist in planning and providing summer skills and transportation for summer programming as necessary.  
• Document services in the RMHC electronic health record in a timely manner.
• Develop outcome measures and update treatment plans, functional assessments, Individual Family Community Support Plans (IFCSPs), and crisis prevention plans for all assigned individuals as required.
• Support clients in appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-through to promote adherence to IFCSP.
• Coordinate and facilitate access to essential services for clients, ensuring comprehensive support tailored to individual needs.
• Act as a client advocate by helping individuals secure and maintain benefits and entitlements.
• Provide crisis assistance as required.
• Model respectful communication and maintain positive, effective relationships with colleagues, clients, school personnel, and community partners.
• Attend the required training as mandated by RMHC and the Department of Human Services to meet both minimum training requirements and mandated trainings.
• Have knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures for each assigned worksite, seeking answers to any questions through communication with the direct supervisor or another authorized representative of RMHC.
• Comply with all relevant regulatory, statutory, and procedural requirements.
• Perform all other duties assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Experience Required: Qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner as defined by the Minnesota Dept of Human Services. (4-year human service degree plus 2000 hours of supervised mental health experience, or a Master’s degree in Human Services, or 4,000 hours of supervised mental health experience).  
• Minimum of two years of experience delivering Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS), School-Based Mental Health Services and collaborating with school systems and/or a minimum of two years providing Children’s Targeted Case Management.
• Experience Preferred: One year of direct staff supervision in a mental health program or educational setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Sufficient visual acuity to read from a computer screen and printed materials.
• Adequate hearing to accurately receive and record verbal information. 
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
