Programs Field Representative - H11A CW

Annual Salary $61,790.27 + Full State Employee Benefits

Travel is EXTENSIVE.  Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.

Preferred Minimum Qualifications

• A master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation;
• OR an equivalent combination and experience, substituting 1 additional year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.

*Professional experience in the fields listed must have been the primary job responsibility to be considered as qualifying. Incidental performance of professional work in any area(s) shall not be considered.

Job Duties

• Assists with the placement of youth in Community-Based Residential Care (CBRC) and Inpatient Behavioral Health (IBH) facilities and other placements as needed.
• Serves as a liaison to a Children’s IFC-IID facility and will have knowledge of policies and regulations of CCL and ODH pertaining to licensure of ICF-IID.
• Ensures proper interpretation and implementation of policy and procedures regarding children certified for DDS.
• Conducts gate keeping of youth who meet the federal definition of IDD and co-occurring behaviors that meet this level of treatment.
• Works with DDS, CW, and other community partners on step down placements when a youth has successfully completed treatment.
• Conducts trainings and resource assistance to CWS staff and stakeholders.
• Provides case consultation to CW staff on cases specific to disability concerns.
   

Preference Statement

Preference may be given to applicants who have at least 3 years of Child Welfare experience with at least one year as a supervisor.
