E11B CCS: Annual Salary $60,790.80 + Full State Employee Benefits

Days worked will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Travel is EXTENSIVE.  Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree and one year of professional experience,
• OR a bachelor’s degree and two years of professional experience
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of professional level experience for each year of the required education.

*NOTE: No substitution will be allowed for the required professional supervisory, managerial, consultative or administrative experience.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Serves as Regional Program Manager for Child Care Licensing.
• Position supervises a group of  licensing supervisors and is responsible for field staff  in the assigned geographical  area.  
• Serves as a liaison from the field to state office.
• Interprets rules, regulations, policy and law pertaining to the Oklahoma Child Care facilities licensing act.
• Responsible for the implementation of policies.
• Has responsibility for the preparation of recommended legal actions.
• Drafts and monitors licensing consent agreements, alternative settlements, revocations, denials, emergency orders of closure, and grievance procedures.
• Participates in administrative hearings.
• Monitors and tracks overall performance in the assigned geographic area for quality and timeliness of license /permit issuances, problem cases, corrective action plans, frequency of monitoring visits , complaint investigations and appropriateness of case actions.
• Provides oversight to determine if licensing supervisors are meeting staff needs for guidance, oversight, and training.
• Responsible for direct supervision of Child Care Licensing Supervisors in county offices including the completion of performance evaluations and the approval of leave.
