Job Description - Project Accountant III (Construction Program)
The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Project Accountant III to support a large-scale public construction bond program with the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD).
As a Project Accountant III, you’ll be the go-to expert for invoice processing, financial reconciliation, and vendor payment coordination, working closely with project teams, contractors, and finance partners.
Salary Range: $65K/Year-$75K/Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
Serve as SME for invoice processing across the bond program
Review, process, and validate invoices per SOPs
Partner with project teams on cost tracking and expenditures
Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies quickly
Support contractor payment analysis and approvals
Reconcile financial accounts and escrow statements
Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders
Help improve processes to reduce errors and risk
Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience
Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience)
Experience with financial systems / ERP tools
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Clear communication and teamwork mindset
