Job Description - Project Analyst, Craftsman

We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Project Analyst, Craftsman to work out of Colorado Springs, CO.


PAY: $120,000 - $131,000


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:



  • Responsible for conducting the systematic front-end analysis of space mission systems to determine training system requirements

  • Complete TSRA and associated report to define training system requirements and identify all risks related to the development and implementation of a training system

  • Responsible for conducting the Mission/Task Analysis (MTA), Training Requirements Analysis (TRA), Objective Media Analysis (OMA), and the Training Systems Basis Analysis (TSBA) components of a TSRA

  • Will Gather information from government- furnished information (GFI), operational procedures, and Subject-Matter Experts (SMEs), enter the information into a database, and create the TSRA reports

  • Conduct data collection and complete analysis to translate space unit Master Task List (MTL) into training requirements (Master Training Task List – MTTL)

  • Define and develop educational and training requirements

  • Accomplish the analysis and design phases to assess/validate the job performance requirements and develop the MTTL

  • Assess manpower, personnel, training, human factor engineering, environmental, safety, and occupational health hazards and integrate factors, risks, analysis and recommendations into the TSRA reports

  • Collect and assess mission system data, tasks, CONOPS, operational procedures, lesson plans and documentation

  • Document analysis/findings and create a training task database to compile the data and complete the TSRA reports

  • Convert MTTL into training requirements to define the entry level and exit level Skills, Knowledge-levels and Attitudes (SKA) for each user position

  • Establish and maintain working relations with headquarters and unit mission system personnel

  • Define training requirements, identify training system risks and evaluate training system design

  • Plan and conduct SME workshops to gather data, assess, and validate the MTL, MTTL and SKAs


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience performing administrative, mission, and system management analysis

  • Eight (8) years of specialized experience in USSF training programs

  • Lead effort to collect and analyze space mission system tasks, and determine training system requirements


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook)

  • Basic understanding of the Training System Requirements Analysis (TSRA) process and reports

  • Working knowledge of training system design documents

  • Apply appropriate data collection, management, modeling and technical analysis techniques and processes


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:



  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; additional years of experience may be used in lieu of education


REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Top Secret


TRAVEL: 10%
