Job Description - Project Assistant

The Project Assistant is responsible for accurate and timely completion of a variety of job-site specific clerical and administrative tasks. This position in located on a job site in Fort Wayne, IN.



Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities



  • Reports employee hours and submits timecards

  • Tracks and reports equipment hours

  • Runs various reports on a regular and timely schedule

  • Updates various spreadsheets, reports, meeting minutes and databases

  • Completes paper and electronic filing

  • Completes cost code set-up in system

  • Prints, reconciles, codes and submits invoices

  • Ensures new hire paperwork is completed properly and submitted accordingly

  • Schedules crew lunches; orders food and sets-up tables and chairs

  • Copies binders for distribution to Foremen

  • Sweeps office and arranges for trash pick-up

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships

  • Responsibilities and tasks outlined in this document are not exhaustive and may change as determined by the needs of the company

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Detail-oriented and results driven

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other software applications

  • Ability to maintain focus and concentration in a busy and noisy environment

  • Demonstrates respect for coworkers and customers

  • Exhibits professionalism





Education & Experience



  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Related experience and/or training preferred
