Overview

This position supports the daily operation of New Construction program offerings through the NJ Clean Energy Program. Youwill perform a variety of processing activities supporting energy consultants, installationpartners, and customers on energy efficiency projects.Youwill supportproject creation, verify documents, and performaccurate and timely reviews of projects and payment of project rebates.
You operate across several computer-based programs and multiple dashboard queues to assure that projects are updated based on daily responses from contractors and customers. You validate contractor/customer reports to ensure accountability and project timelines. You must be able to work within a multi-faceted environment to meet both project and program goals and objectives.Your ability to accurately assess various types of submittals ensures applications progress according to standards and specifications.

Develop and maintain understanding of program objectives, incentives, processes, and procedures.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email.
Ensure outstanding customer and contractor satisfaction.
UseCustomer Relationship Management(CRM)software or other Program Management software to progress energy efficiency applications through required milestones and interact across functional areas to ensure timely responses to customers and program partners.
Raise issues and exceptions to appropriate levels for resolution.
Provide insight on how to improve program design and processing for better overall delivery and value.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Eligibilityto work in the United States.
Academic and/or professional experience displaying a strong interest in sustainability, green building, or energy efficiency.
Business acumen which includes a working knowledge and understanding of functions required to provide sound program support, including, but not limited to, the ability to understand context, be able to “read the room”, and possess situational awareness.
Aptitude for Microsoft Office and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook and the ability to troubleshoot issues related to each.
Ability to work with Excel workbooks and to create and upload documents and files.
Strong data entryskills.
Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to understand and follow procedures.
Comfort with fast changing work priorities and multitasking.
Must possess analytical skills and have attention to detail.
Team-oriented, hands-on, adaptive, and client-focused.
Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
Competitive applicants will demonstrate:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, planning, environmental science, natural resource management, or construction management is preferred.
Previous EnergyEfficiency program experience.
Minimum of three years of demonstrated success in developing and maintaining customer, client, and partner relationships with a high level of satisfaction.
Professional presence with desire to improve processes and exceed program savings goals.

Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
