The expected salary range for this position is $200,000- $240,000 depending upon experience

TPZP, a Tutor Perini joint venture company, is the company selected to execute the California High Speed Rail – construction package one (CP-1). TPZP is seeking a Project Closeout Manager for the project in Fresno, CA

The California High-Speed Rail Authority’s Construction Package 1 (CP1) is the first significant construction contract executed on the Initial Operating Section of the High-Speed Rail project in California’s Central Valley.

The CP1 construction area is a 32-mile stretch between Avenue 19 in Madera County to East American Avenue in Fresno County, including major work elements in downtown Fresno. It includes 12 roadway / railroad grade separations, two mainline viaducts, one tunnel, realignments of existing railroad tracks, utility relocations, roadway relocations, two trench sections, and a major river crossing over the San Joaquin River.

DESCRIPTION:

As the Project Closeout Manager, you will have the opportunity to,

• Lead all project closeout activities to ensure timely and successful completion of contract requirements

• Produce the Monthly owner billings

• Schedule updates aligned with closeout milestones

• Managing and reporting on closeout milestones

• Auditing and closeout of time & materials change orders

• Leading final owner acceptance and handover

• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve closeout items

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or similar technical discipline preferred.

• 10 or more years’ construction experience on civil infrastructure or transit projects

• Previous experience in project closeout activities

• Experience on construction projects exceeding $500M in value

• Experience as a project controls manager
