Project Engineer

Talent Source is hiring a Project Engineer (Construction) in San Diego to assist in the management of commercial construction projects. This entry-level project management role involves supporting Project Managers in planning, organizing, and controlling all aspects of projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  Assist in managing construction projects from planning through completion.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  
  


• 
  

  Review and interpret blueprints, schedules, specifications, and other construction documents.

  
  


• 
  

  Support the bid process, quantity take-offs, and estimating.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain project documentation, reports, and records.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify and resolve project-related issues diplomatically.

  
  


• 
  

  Promote a safe, collaborative, and productive work environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  1–4 years of experience in the construction industry.

  
  


• 
  

  Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or equivalent.

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of the bid process, quantity take-offs, and estimating.

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Outlook, Procore, and Bluebeam.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and multitasking skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude.

  
  


• 
  

  Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

  
  


• 
  

  Exhibits confidence, ambition, and self-motivation.

  
  

Pay Range: $60,000 – $90,000 per year 

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday; may include occasional overtime
