General Description

Under the direction of the Director of Project Management, the Project Engineer will be responsible for being the main point of contact for customers, both internal and external.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

1. Plan and locate appropriate resources (labor, material, and equipment) needed to achieve project goals.

2. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify risk, and develop, recommend, and execute resolutions.

3. Effectively communicate project updates to project members and supervisors in a timely and clear fashion.

4. Ensure availability and delivery of appropriate material and equipment needed at remote installation sites.

5. Develop, manage, and report on project budgets to executive team.

6. Identify and effectively communicate (written and verbal) risks that may impact successful completion of project.

7. Resolve client's needs be determining the overall method of approach in accordance with the company's policies, practices, and procedures.

8. Establish and maintain effective and positive company/business relationships.

9. Assist in developing best practices and tools for project execution and management.

10. Lead project meetings externally and internally.

11. Ensure the completion and maintenance of all required paperwork, documentation, files, records, etc.

12. Helps drive and support BCT's Culture and Core Values

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. · Candidate will possess a high level of organizational skill and ability to prioritize and multitask.

· Familiarity with 3D/CAD system with proficiency in SolidWorks preferable.

· Ability to prioritize workload, managing internal customers, external customer.

· Strong interpersonal & written skills with desire to be an active team member.

· Demonstrate proficiency with computer skills MS Office, MS Project, or Smartsheet.

· Ability to read prints

· Technical competence

Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor of Science or Associates degree related to Project Management or Engineering is preferred.

· Experience in an industrial/engineering environment.
