Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will:

• Serve as Special Inspection Engineer of Record for projects across Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Loudoun, Falls Church, and Prince William counties.

• Provide geotechnical support to Construction Materials Testing (CMT) project managers.

• Conduct site visits, attend client and progress meetings, and prepare detailed technical reports.

• Contribute to proposal preparation, cost estimating, and the development of specifications and plans.

• Support cross-functional engineering departments as needed.

• Maintain rigorous standards of service, quality, and client satisfaction.

• Promote and uphold company and site safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required; M.S. preferred.

• Experience: 10+ years in geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing.

• Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.

• Familiarity with Northern Virginia special inspection programs.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

• Valid drivers license with ability to travel locally and regionally.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in diverse field conditions.
