Job Description - Project Engineer - Healthcare

This position requires strong team building and data analytical skills. Primary tasks will include performing project management responsibilities, risk management, detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some quality assurance and/or user acceptance testing.

Broad responsibilities include :

Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
Define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities
Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance
Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Staying up to date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
Performing requirements analysis
Performing risk analysis and providing mitigation or control recommendations
Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports
Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial team members
Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior team members
Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
Performing user acceptance testing
Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures
Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements
Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users
Managing competing resources and priorities

Requirements :

A bachelor's degree in business or related field or an MBA
A minimum of 5 years' experience in business analysis, project management or a related field
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
Advanced technical skills
Excellent documentation skills
Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
High level of competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
A track record of following through on commitments
Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working in the investment industry
Experience leading and developing high performing teams
PMP Certification or equivalent training and/or work experience in project management disciplines
A history of leading and supporting successful projects
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

NOTE: This opportunity may be contract to full-time hire.
