Job Description - Project Engineers

Mid-Level Civil Design Engineer – Water/Wastewater

You will support multi-billion-dollar municipal water infrastructure programs. Responsible for translating engineering concepts into detailed, high-quality 3D models and 2D construction documents for large-diameter pipelines, solids handling facilities, and complex site civil layouts.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the production and assembly of construction plans, specifications, and design reports, collaborating directly with sr. engineers and project managers.

Assist in ensuring designs comply with City of Houston, Harris County, and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations.

Interdisciplinary Coordination: Coordinate design interfaces between civil, structural, and mechanical elements of the treatment plant expansion.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of 2+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering design, ideally focused on water, wastewater, or municipal utility infrastructure.

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required, with a clear track toward obtaining a Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license.
