Project Expeditor - Predictive Maintenance

Role Summary:

The Project Expeditor is an administrative role that supports the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and executing of utility construction projects. The Project Expeditor works closely with the project manager and project team to order/requisition project materials, dispatch internal and subcontractor crews, maintain data integrity, and analyze datasets to derive key metrics.

Construction, former project management, or technical experience is not required. This is a full-time, in-office position. Work hours to be set based on input from your direct supervisor.

Job Responsibilities:  

• Order/requisition project materials


• Identify materials needed to execute daily work orders
  


• Submit tickets in the asset management system to procure from the warehouse
  


• Work alongside procurement to obtain specialty materials from vendors
  


• Initiate warranty process for failed materials
  


• Dispatch internal and subcontractor crews
  


• Prepare and assign daily work orders for internal and subcontractor crews based on
  efficiencies, priorities, and available materials
  


• Monitor crew production in the asset management system and assign additional work as
  necessary
  


• Take phone calls with technicians, field supervisors, and project managers
  


• Maintain data integrity
  


• Audit daily submittals for accuracy, uniformity, and data completeness
  


• Make asset management system workflow adjustments to equip technicians and project
  management personnel to perform their activities better
  


• Flag issues for technical or management review
  


• Analyze data sets
  


• Work with semi-large data sets to derive different metrics around production, efficiency,
  and safety
  


• Prepare internal and external reports
