Project Inspector

True Inspection Services LLC, a division of the Mannik & Smith Group, is currently hiring experienced heavy highway construction Project Inspectors for our Northern Kentucky and Lexington projects.  Join our inspection team and be a part of a highly respected company that is known for being a standout in the industry. 

Your role:

· You will be responsible for the inspection of projects to ensure contractor compliance with state specifications, plans, and/or proposals for roadway work, roadway, drainage, pavement, waterworks, electrical, maintenance of traffic, traffic work zone, pavement markings, traffic control, signing, topsoil removal, demolition and clearing, foundations for embankment, sub-grades, guardrails and/or median barriers, landscaping slope protection, detours, temporary roads, etc.

· Verification of plan quantities and calculations following project plans.

· Preparation and maintenance of project records and with on-time submission.

· Notify contractor of non-conforming work.

· Performance of data entry into ODOT’s current operating system or local documentation equivalent as directed by the Project Engineer or Project Manager.

· Will assist other project management staff with identifying problems and developing viable solutions for consideration.

Required Qualifications:

· Experience in heavy highway construction inspection-required

Education and Certifications:

1. A High School diploma or GED is required

· Certification in the following:

o ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician-Grade I

o ACl Aggregate Sampling Technician

o Asphalt Field Technician

o Structural Inspection Level I

o Grand and Drain Level I

o KEPSC-RI

o Construction
