Project Lead

Position Description: The On-Site Supervisor / Project Lead is responsible for overseeing all contractor work performed under the contract. This role involves managing contractor employees, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). The On-Site Supervisor will also handle scheduling, performance evaluations, and problem resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations and supervise contractor staff.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Coordinate with government representatives to address technical problems.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities and employee performance.
• Provide training and support to contractor personnel.

Location:

• Primary Location: National Maritime Center, Martinsburg, WV.

Period of Performance:

• Base Period: 8 months
• Option Periods: Four 12-month option periods

Work Arrangement:

• In Office

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Additional Requirement: At least five (5) years of supervisory experience working with ISO 9001 quality standards systems (QSS) or equivalent quality system.
