Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong expertise in horizontal construction, cost estimating, and project coordination. This role requires a proactive professional with exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to discuss project requirements and progress.
• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and technical documents.
• Compile accurate cost estimates by analyzing material, labor, equipment, transportation, and subcontractor data.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of projects, including crews, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with management and supervise crews to ensure compliance with safety standards, timelines, and budgetary requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including contract disputes and on-site challenges.
• Track additional work requirements and prepare change orders.
• Support billing processes and maintain proper documentation.
• Manage 3-5 projects simultaneously, ranging from 45-90 days (small projects) to 912 months (large projects).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field).
• 4-6 years of experience in horizontal construction (10+ years preferred).
• Proven project management and cost estimating experience (initially estimating-focused, transitioning into project management).
• Expertise in concrete and underground utilities projects.
• Stable work history and a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with a proactive mindset.
