We are looking for a Structural Project Manager to support commercial and large-scale residential projects in the Dallas area. This role is responsible for managing multiple structural engineering projects from early design through construction administration while working closely with internal engineering staff and senior leadership. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation in structural engineering, solid project management experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Responsibilities
• Manage multiple structural engineering projects from conceptual design through construction administration
• Perform structural engineering calculations and support the preparation of contract documents
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Oversee project schedules, deliverables, and day-to-day execution to keep projects moving on time
• Supervise and support engineers in training and technical staff assigned to projects
• Review designs, drawings, and documentation for accuracy, quality, and compliance
• Communicate directly with clients and project stakeholders regarding progress, scope, and technical matters
• Assist with problem-solving during design and construction phases
• Support construction administration activities, including responding to project-related questions and reviewing submittals as needed
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering required
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred or required based on licensure path
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a project management or project lead capacity
• Professional licensure required for the Project Manager role
• Experience supporting commercial and large-scale residential structural projects
• Proficiency with structural design software
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• U.S. citizenship required
